For wooden staircases, we mean iron staircases or stainless steel with wooden steps. Wood, warm material, comfortable, certainly cheaper than marble and glass, is undoubtedly the most requested. The multiplicity of essences and finishes and the high technical performance of this material, make it easily applicable to most types of ladders and solutions. Our models of staircases, spiral staircases, helicoidal stairs, cantilevered staircases and design staircases go perfectly with the use of wood in the treads.
The wooden steps proposed by PM for staircases, spiral staircases and helicoidal stairs are usually 40mm thick entirely of solid wood. The essences most used for staircases interiors are beech, oak, larch, ash, doussiè. To the stairs by using the external teak considered the most suitable to outside due to its water and humidity resistance. On request we also offer, the riser closed, in combination with the tread which can make the most varied finishes. The solid wood steps can be realized with a sample finishing thus combining the treads of the staircase to the floor of the environment in which is inserted.
Cantilevered staircases have steps of solid wood. Each step has an internal steel structure that is fixed to the bearing wall. These steps are also available in beech, oak, larch or with a sample finishing.
